Arriving at a frozen Arctic lake, you’ll experience the traditional Lapland pastime of ice fishing. Your guide will provide all the fishing equipment and demonstrate how to cut a hole in the ice, drop the line, and wait patiently for an Arctic char to bite. While waiting, enjoy the stunning winter scenery, with snow-covered forests and sparkling ice stretching as far as the eye can see.

A campfire will be prepared on the shore, and warm drinks will be ready for you. Any fish caught can be cooked on the spot, even if no fish are caught, you can relax by the fire with a cup of warm blueberry tea, soaking in the authentic life and peaceful atmosphere of Lapland.

You can reserve grilled salmon in Lappish kota by paying extra fees.

A minimum of 2 people are required to register on weekdays and Saturdays
A minimum of 4 people are required to register on Sundays and national holidays
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult
If the guest is late due to personal reasons, the guide will not wait for him/her and he/she is requested to go to the activity location on his/her own or give up the trip, no refund
If the number of registered people is less than 2, we will notify you in advance and cancel the trip or make other arrangements depending on the situation
Whether the lake is frozen or not depends on the temperature. If the weather is not cold enough, the lake may not be completely frozen
